Print Production Artist:

Must have a working understanding of layout, type and color, and able to take instructions from a designer and create a complete layout, working proficiently in InDesign, QuarkXPress, Photoshop and Illustrator. Responsibilities also include producing final files that image properly from computer to plate. Must be highly organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. They need to implement quick revisions to match a client's requests. Experience proofing, preflighting, preparing and press checking files is required. They should be familiar with image compression, file correction, and optimization techniques.
